Redblacks agree to deal with DL Lemon
The Ottawa Redblacks have acquired international defensive end Shawn Lemon. The move comes following the news that Aston Whiteside will likely miss the remainder of the season after a suffering a knee injury in the Week 10 win against the Riders.

The Ottawa Redblacks have acquired international defensive end Shawn Lemon.
The move comes following the news that Aston Whiteside will likely miss the remainder of the season after a suffering a knee injury in the Week 10 win against the Riders.
The highly-sought veteran of three CFL seasons arrives in Ottawa after recent appearances with the Pittsburgh Steelers and San Francisco 49ers. He also spent time with the Bombers, Riders, Eskimos and Stampeders.
Lemon had an outstanding season with the Grey Cup-champion Calgary Stampeders in 2014, starting 18 games and totalling 13 sacks, 31 tackles, five tackles for losses and five forced fumbles.
The Redblacks also transferred international defensive lineman Aston Whiteside to the six-game disabled list.
