Milwaukee Bucks superstar Sidney Moncrief has been elected into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame’s Class of 2019 according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski,

A formal announcement will come on Saturday.

Moncrief was a five-time All-Star and five-time All-NBA guard with the Bucks from 1979 to 1989. For his career, he averaged 15.6 points per game on just over 50 per cent shooting. 

He was also named a two-time defensive player of the year. 

Moncrief finished his career with the Atlanta Hawks in 1991.
