The last of the ROX Tigers world-class lineup is jumping ship to its biggest South Korean rival, according to ESPN.
Sources close to the situation tell ESPN that jungler Han “Peanut” Wang-ho has left the former World Championship finalists to join three-time world champion SK Telecom T1.
Peanut was the last remaining starter from 2016 after Song "Smeb" Kyung-ho, Lee "Kuro" Seo-haeng, Kim "Pray" Jong-in and Kang "Gorilla" Beom-hyeon departed from the club last week.
Sources said there was interest from a few regions, however Peanut did not want to leave South Korea and had his sights set on SKT.
Peanut joins mid laner Faker, who was re-signed by the club on Monday. SKT also announced that top laner Lee "Duke" Ho-seong, Lee "PoohManDu" Jeong-hyeon and jungler Bae "Bengi" Seong-woong would not be returning to the team.
SKT will be Peanut’s third team in two years after beginning his career with Najin e-mFire in 2015 before joining ROX later that year.
