Riders ink S Edem to two-year extension
The Saskatchewan Roughriders have signed national safety Mike Edem to a two-year contract extension, keeping him with the club through 2020.

The Saskatchewan Roughriders have signed national safety Mike Edem to a two-year contract extension, keeping him with the club through 2020.
Edem had a career-high 61 defensive tackles last season and two interceptions in 18 games played.
The 29-year-old was acquired by the Roughriders in May of 2017.
He was selected No. 3 overall in the 2013 CFL Draft by the Montreal Alouettes and was named an East Division All-Star later that season.
Through six CFL seasons and, he has tallied 172 defensive tackles, 50 special teams tackles eight interceptions and five sacks.
