Seth Jones to captain Team USA at worlds
Seth Jones has been named captain of Team USA for the 2022 IIHF World Championship in Finland. USA Hockey announced Tuesday that Jones would serve as captain, with Winnipeg Jets defenceman Nate Schmidt and Ottawa Senators winger Austin Watson serving as alternate captains.

Seth Jones has been named captain of Team USA for the 2022 IIHF World Championship in Finland.
USA Hockey announced Tuesday that Jones would serve as captain, with Winnipeg Jets defenceman Nate Schmidt and Ottawa Senators winger Austin Watson serving as alternate captains.
Team USA announced last week that Jones would be joined on the roster by his younger brother, Caleb Jones, who also played with him on Chicago Blackhawks blueline this season.
The Americans will compete against hosts Finland, the Czech Republic, Sweden, Latvia, Norway, Great Britain and Austria in Group B, with the tournament getting underway on Friday.
