San Jose Sharks forward Joe Thornton hit his second major milestone in as many weeks, scoring his 400th goal a week after playing in his 1,500th career game.

The Sharks lead the Predators 5-4 in the third period.

Thornton becomes the 97th player to hit the 400-goal plateau. He has 1,032 assists for 1,432 points over 21 NHL seasons.
