The Tampa Bay Lightning added to their already sizable lead in the second period, scoring a pair of goals to lead the Toronto Maple Leafs 5-0 heading into the third.

Ross Colton gave the Lightning a four-goal lead 3:17 into the period when his wrist shot ricocheted off the glove of Jack Campbell and into the back of the net.

After the Leafs took a pair of penalties, Corey Perry put the Lightning up 5-0 on the ensuing 5-on-3 power play, taking a cross-crease pass and firing it into the open net.

Goaltender Jack Campbell was pulled shortly after Perry gave Tampa the five-goal lead. Erik Kallgren came on in relief.

The Leafs took five penalties in the second period allowing just the one power play goal to Perry. The Lightning are 1-for-7 on the power play through two periods.
