Moore leads Marlies past Comets

UTICA, N.Y. — Trevor Moore had a pair of goals, including the eventual winner, as the Toronto Marlies rolled past the Utica Comets 7-3 on Friday in American Hockey League action.
Jordan Subban had a goal and an assist for the Marlies (1-0-0), the minor-league affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs. Pierre Engvall, Timothy Liljegren, Carl Grundstrom and Josh Jooris rounded out the attack for Toronto.
Reid Boucher scored twice for Utica (0-1-0), the AHL club of the Vancouver Canucks. Zack MacEwen added a goal.
Kasimir Kaskisuo made 43 saves for the win and Richard Bachman stopped 32-of-38 shots for the Comets.
The Marlies went 1 for 5 on the power play and Utica was 2 for 6 with the man advantage.
