TORONTO (August 25, 2016) – The year’s final Grand Slam champion will be crowned on TSN as Canada’s Sports Leader delivers exclusive live coverage of theUS OPEN, live from the hard courts of the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Centre in New York City. TSN’s multi-court coverage, spanning the first round all the way to the finals, begins Monday, August 29 at 11 a.m. ET on TSN and the TSN GO app (see below or visit TSN.ca/USOpen for complete broadcast schedule).

TSN’s expansive slate of US OPEN coverage features unique, dedicated court feeds across TSN’s five national feeds and the TSN GO app, offering viewers the choice between multiple matches happening simultaneously. Bouchard returns to the Grand Slam circuit after representing Canada at the RIO 2016 OLYMPIC GAMES, while Pospisil continues a successful doubles campaign which has seen him place in the quarter-finals or higher in six ATP and Grand Slam tournaments this year.

The women’s side of the tournament is headlined by six-time US OPEN champion Serena Williams, as well as RIO 2016 OLYMPIC GAMES gold medal winner Mónica Puig, FRENCH OPEN champion Garbiñe Muguruza, and AUSTRALIAN OPEN champion and RIO 2016 OLYMPIC GAMES silver medallist Angelique Kerber.

The men’s field is highlighted by defending champion Novak Djokovic, in search of his second consecutive US OPEN title, WIMBLEDON champion and RIO 2016 OLYMPIC GAMES gold medallist Andy Murray, and former US OPEN champions Rafael Nadal, Marin Cilic, and Juan Martin del Potro.
