Ronald Darby is staying in the AFC South.

Days after his release from the Jacksonville Jaguars, the veteran cornerback has signed a one-year deal with the Houston Texans, reports ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The deal is worth $2.5 million.

Darby appeared in 13 games for the Jags in 2024, recording 46 tackles and defending nine passes.

A native of Oxon Hill, MD, Darby is headed into his 11th NFL season. Originally taken with the 50th overall pick of the 2015 NFL Draft out of Florida State, Darby has appeared in 118 career games with the Bills, Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Football Team, Denver Broncos, Baltimore Ravens and Jaguars.

For his career, Darby has recorded 447 tackles and eight interceptions.

The 31-year-old Darby was a member of the Eagles team that won Super Bowl LII.
