Don’t forget to check out the official THE SHIFT playlist on Spotify for all your listening needs. We’ll bring the hits to satisfy your music appetite. Now, on to the music!

NAV - Demons Protected By Angels

After several delays, NAV has made his exciting return with his first album in two years, Demons Protected By Angels.

The 19-track LP features a pretty hefty list of collaborators, including Lil Baby, Travis Scott, Future, Lil Uzi Vert, Don Toliver among others, while production can be heard from the likes of Mike Dean, Tay Keith and more. NAV delivers his classic melodic lyricism and sound throughout the project that’s just over 50 minutes in length.

Roddy Ricch ft. G Herbo & Doe Boy - “Ghetto Superstar”

A few months after dropping his three-song EP The Big 3, Roddy Ricch has enlisted G Herbo and Doe Boy for his new single to close out the Summer, “Ghetto Superstar.”

The track, produced by Southside and Mustard, sees Roddy and Doe Boy celebrating their success and lives of luxury, while G Herbo discusses his upcoming fraud case that he faces. The track is rumoured to be the leading single of Roddy’s upcoming Feed Tha Streets 3 mixtape, the follow-up to 2018’s second instalment.

Money Man, Key Glock, BLEU ft. Babyface Ray - “No Limit”

Football season is back and every year, the EA Sports Madden NFL video game series draws out some of hip-hop’s superstars to bless the latest game’s soundtrack.

This year, Money Man links up with Key Glock, BLEU and Babyface Ray for “No Limit.” BLEU quarterbacks the hook, while Money Man, Glock and Ray run out in their verses as if they were positions in a game. Hitmaka rounds out the track with his trumpet and horn-sounding beats.

G Herbo ft. A Boogie wit da Hoodie - “Me, Myself & I”

Fresh off his guest feature alongside Doe Boy and Roddy Ricch on “Ghetto Superstar,” G Herbo taps A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie for his new track and video “Me, Myself & I.”

The motivational track finds the duo focusing and reflecting on their successful journey in the music industry, particularly as Herbo grapples with the same adversity he rapped about on 2020’s PTSD. The single arrives ahead of G Herbo’s fifth studio album, Survivor’s Remorse, which is due out later this year as the official follow-up to his last full-length offering, 25.
