Toronto Raptors point guard Immanuel Quickley is out for Thursday’s Game 3 against the Cleveland Cavaliers, TSN’s Josh Lewenberg reports.

Quickley has yet to suit up for a game this series due to a hamstring strain he sustained in the regular-season finale against the Brooklyn Nets.

Head coach Darko Rajakovic said Wednesday that Quickley’s hamstring had been improving and that he had been getting individual on-court workouts.

The 26-year-old also dealt with plantar fasciitis during the regular season, recording 16.4 points, 4.0 rebounds and 5.9 assists over 70 games.

The Raptors have dropped the first two games of the first-round series and have now lost 12-straight playoff games to the Cavaliers dating back to the 2016 Eastern Conference Final.

Jamal Shead has started both games of the series in Quickley’s place.

Guard Ja’Kobe Walter was listed as questionable due to an illness but will be available Thursday night and will start in place of Shead.

Centre Jakob Poeltl will remain in the starting lineup.
