1950 – Makes debut with Quebec Aces of Quebec Senior League
1951 – Makes NHL debut in a two-game call-up, registering one goal and one assist.
1953 – Montreal Canadiens purchase Quebec Senior League, forcing Beliveau to turn pro and join Canadiens
1956 – Wins first Stanley Cup as Canadiens defeat the Detroit Red Wings in five games.
- Wins first Hart Memorial Trophy as NHL MVP
- Wins Art Ross Trophy as NHL scoring Champion
- Leads the NHL in goals with 47
1957 – Wins second Stanley Cup as Canadiens defeat the Boston Bruins in five games
