Semien sets single-season record for most home runs by 2B
Marcus Semien has set a single-season record. Semien hit his 44th home run of the season on Wednesday to set a new MLB record for home runs hit by a second baseman in one season.

Marcus Semien has set a single-season record.
Semien hit his 44th home run of the season on Wednesday to set a new MLB record for home runs hit by a second baseman in one season.
The 30-year-old, who was named to his first All-Star team this summer, also has a .267 batting average with 101 RBIs.
Semien's one-year, $18 million contract expires at the end of the 2021 season and he will become a free agent this winter.
