The Los Angeles Rams waived wide receiver Stedman Bailey with a non-football injury designation Tuesday.

Bailey was shot twice in the head last November and hasn’t been cleared to return to football activities, according to a report from ESPN.

The report goes on to say that Bailey has been with the team during OTAs, helping with wide receiver drills, and should he clear waivers, will be able to continue in that role.

The Rams would like to keep Bailey as part of the organization, in a non-playing role, according to ESPN.
