The top safety is off the free agent market.

The Baltimore Ravens signed former San Diego Chargers safety Eric Weddle on Monday.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the two sides reached a four-year, $26 million contract.

Weddle, 31, started 13 games for the Chargers last season, registering 78 tackles and six passes defended, but openly feuded with management.

Entering his 10th NFL season, Weddle owns 850 career tackles and 19 interceptions. He was selected in the second round of the 2007 NFL Draft by the Chargers.

He has been named to three Pro Bowls in his career and is a two-time First-Team All-Pro, including in 2014.
