Washington withdraws, Condell told he's out of Als coaching search
BC Lions defensive coordinator Mark Washington has withdrawn his name from consideration for the Montreal Alouettes head coaching job, while the Montreal Gazette reports Toronto Argonauts receivers coach Tommy Condell has been told he will not be the Alouettes' next head coach.

BC Lions defensive coordinator Mark Washington has withdrawn his name from consideration for the Montreal Alouettes head coaching job.
The Als meanwhile, have told Tommy Condell he will not be their next head coach, according to a report from Herb Zurkowsky of the Montreal Gazette.
Condell interviewed for the position after helping the Toronto Argonauts win the Grey Cup this past season as their receivers coach.
TSN CFL Insider Dave Naylor reported late last week Calgary Stampeders defensive coordinator DeVone Claybrooks, also a candidate for the Alouettes head coaching vacancy, will stay in Calgary.
Argos assistant head coach and defensive coordinator Corey Chamblin has also declined an interview for the position, according to an earlier report from Herb Zurkowsky of the Montreal Gazette.
