Everton completed the signing of Richarlison from Watford on Wednesday.

The initial deal for the 21-year-old Brazilian winger was for £35 million, but bonus clauses could take the deal to £50 million, which would make Richarlison the club's record signing.

"Everton have put their faith in me and I intend to honour this shirt and demonstrate on the pitch why I came here," the player said in a statement. "I want my dreams to become a reality here at one of the biggest clubs in England."

The deal reunites Richarlison with manager Marco Silva, who brought the player to the Hornets last summer from Fluminese.

"Richarlison is a good player who will make our team and our squad more competitive," Silva said in a statement. "The competition between our players is really important to me. The player himself is fast, strong, very good technically and he can play in three positions across the front line. He can also score goals."

Richarlison, who appeared in 41 games for Watford last season in all competitions and scored five times, says he's excited to link back up again with Silva.

"I think it is going to be important for me to be with Marco Silva again," Richarlison said. "I will learn more because I am still learning as a player and I aim to develop and grow here. I developed really well with him while he was with me at Watford. It was really good working with him and one day I believe he can help me to be selected for Brazil in the full national team."

With Richarlison signed, Silva will now turn his focus to Barcelona pair Yerry Mina and Lucas Digne with Everton keen on bringing in both defenders.
