The Toronto Maple Leafs have agreed to terms on an entry-level contract with forward Miro Aaltonen, the team announced on Friday.

The 23-year-old played in 59 games this season with Vityaz Podolsk of the Kontinental Hockey League.  He scored 19 goals and added 25 assists.

The Joensuu, Finland native spent 233 games in the Finnish Liiga where he contributed 119 points.

Aaltonen was selected in the 6th round, 177th overall of the 2013 NHL Draft by the Anaheim Ducks.
